Fragments Rug
With a distinctly graphic character, every piece in the Fragments collection is both a luxurious rug and a striking work of art. The contours of each motif are hand-cut, woven from New Zealand wool and bamboo fiber.
The series of luxurious carpets has a distinctly graphic character. The image – or signifier – is after all the particular legacy of man’s presence on earth through millennia. Where two colours meet, their contours are hand cut. This procedure helps eachmotif to stand out. Whilst the process is time-consuming, the result is certainly something to treasure.
