Aqueduct Sofa

The Poiat Studio’s designers drew inspiration for the softly rounded Aqueduct Sofa from the ancient Rome. The grand arches of these watercourse systems, aqueducts, were a showpiece of roman architecture and engineering. By also embracing the contemporary influences of Nordic design, the designers found a perfect balance between traditional and modern design for the sofa. The Aqueduct Sofa has two plinth base options. A modern high base that elevates the sofa’s base structure and a classical low base that integrates the furniture pieces smoothly against the floor. The upholstery fabrics for the aqueduct sofa are a carefully curated selection of fine fabrics from the industry’s most esteemed manufacturers, such as Dedar, Pierre Frey and Larsen. The plinth is upholstered with a matching Alcantara fabric but can also be the same fabric as the body and the cushions.
